Everything about EE surpasses expectation....the coffee is BRILLIANT! I haven't ever experienced better in Bayside or anywhere else for that matter! The friendly staff are just as good as the coffee which is consistantly well made, no matter who makes it! For those who don't drink coffee...the hot chocolate is to die for! From day 1, I was hooked!! I wouldn't go anywhere else! Thanks much, Luke, Cal, Jade and their many marvellous minions!. Amelia (July '08)
The best coffee in Hampton Street by so far it's not funny. All the baristas know how to make a consistent coffee - whatever you ask for. My kids love it also - the selection of hot chocolates and frappe's is great and they are always treated to an extra chocolate coffee bean. Great coffee, great staff, great place - it's a no-brainer where to get your coffee in Hampton - Espresso Elements!! Matt (July '08)
I love Espresso Elements! I love the coffee, I love the friendly staff and I love the atmosphere of the shop. I love that everyone who enters is greated with a welcoming smile. The coffee is brilliant, perfect everytime - a godsend first thing in the morning as I travel to work. Thank you Jade, Callum and Luke.
Bad! I went into to use my redemption card which had been previously stamped the weekend before and I was told that my next coffee was free. On coming back the following weekend I was told they would not redeem my free coffee. They were rude, obnoxious and disgusting about the whole matter. I treated like a common criminal. I will not step foot in their premise ever again. And recommend everyone do exactly the same who lives in the area.
Absolutely awesome to have such a great coffee house near Hampton station - a great way to start the day with a Skinny Latte + 1. Extremely friendly staff who know their product well and deliver prompt service. On the weekend the cafe is generally full due to its popularity with the locals. My wife and I often take our young child in and feed her inside while having a coffee. A+++ for service. A+++ for product. Special mentions to Luke, Callum and Jade. Keep up the good work.
Really happy to have a quality coffee option near Hampton Station. Opens nice & early, and yet staff are still friendly and know how to make an excellent cup. Only wish they were open late so I could get a yummy double E for the walk home!
Since opening in Hampton this store has taken the street by storm, the street's best coffee by far!! to the annoyance of many other cafe's. The staff are friendly and helpful and the store is a very inviting/relaxed place to sip on you favourite brew and read the paper. I'm hooked, do yourself a favour and check this place out!! you won't regret it
Having been back here a few times now I have to say that the overall impression of the place is disappointing. The staff seem to be reasonably skilled at making coffee, but the product they're using leaves a lot to be desired: harsh and bitter espresso does not a great coffee make...
What a gem of a place! Espresso Elements is a great find. It has exceptional coffee, friendly service, bubbly experienced and knowledgeable staff, an extensive range of coffee blends and machines, which makes it one of the best coffee venues in town. I stop there every time I am in Hampton, whether on the way to work or with the kids. The hot chocolate is a kid's favourite.
After hearing about a new coffee house in Hampton I decided to go in to take a look. I was surprised to find that I could not find a seat anywhere as the place was packed. So I decided to have a takeaway caffe latte which was delivered to me promptly even though there was a long line of people waiting for their coffee's. The coffee that I received would have to be 1 of the best that I've had in a long time, perfect temp & a beautiful flavor. So on a return visit later that day I managed to find a seat & have a look at all the accessories that this store stocks & I must say that if you need anything in coffee you should come to this place. They have top quality domestic espresso machines & anything you need for making tea or coffee. All the staff are so friendly & you can see that they enjoy working there. Don't know if 1 of them was the owner tho Mind you the presentation of this store is 5 star. With every coffee served has some kind of latte art on the top. When I asked for some assistance they were more than happy to help & demonstrate the different types of preparing coffee. There isn't a big selection of food however what is available is extremeley tempting. I give this place 10 out of 10!! When your in Hampton definitely get your caffeine fix here.
Best coffee in the bayside region. I started my coffee obsession here and Callum sure has a lot of knowledge & passion about the machines he sells and the coffee he serves. Time your visits as it gets busy so hopefully more outdoor seating available in the summer. Agree with the previous is lacking on sweet cafe nibbles.
Have to disagree with the other comment on this cafe. I've been going there for a few weeks now and have found the coffee to be consistently excellent every time. Service is very friendly. Only area they could improve is a better food selection I'm a fan of preposterously-sized muffins but otherwise a fantastic little place. They also sell their own blend coffee beans, packaged properly vacuum bags which tastes very good.
Decided on a return visit to find all things vastly improved! My espresso was short and sweet, with ripe cherry fruit, capsicum, and almond biscotti aromas on the nose, and this followed through on the palate. Service was friendly and efficient, with the owner working the floor like a pro, and the place was packed, which is the best form of advertising any business needs. Recommended.
Only 8 days old when reviewed, this cute little coffee shop is well located next to Hampton Train Station, and is very well presented. Serving only coffee and cakes, with some good looking organic muffins on display, there is also a good selection of very appealing domestic and pro-sumer espresso machines and grinders on display. And whilst my espresso coffee was good, it didn't quite hit the mark, as a sour cherry note over-shadowed the complexity of the coffee, suggesting that either the portafilter, or the demitasse, or both, hadn't been adequately pre-heated prior to extraction. What is perhaps a little disconcerting, however, is the response I received when enquiring about the coffee
