I live just around the corner. Ashburton really needed an innovative place like this. Brilliant coffee, great service. Cafe during day (best poached eggs I've had in years, if not ever), Thai restaurant at night (not quite as stunning as the breakfast, but still very good). Hopefully this place will trhive, it deserves to. Only criticism is that the concrete floors make the place noisy when it is busy and cold in winter - bit better ambience would really make this place stand out.
