Generally good food and a small but relatively well chosen wine list are marred by inattentive service and a lack of direction on the floor. Bread on arrival, and wines by the glass poured at the table, should be a given when you are paying $100 per person for dinner. Nothing wrong with the deserts, though, which are worth going back for. Needs an attentive maitre d' to provide direction for staff, and to anticipate the needs of the customers.
