Extremely Rude stafff and NO table service...in a Sheraton Hotel WOW !!!! limited menu....how can you offer scrambled eggs but not bacon ??? Over extracted coffee that was bitter and served in dirty cups. I have better tasting coffee from a truck stop ! Nice location though, in the Sheraton Hotel, overlooking the Hastings River, so that must be enough I guess.

The hotel has changed hands to Rydges and the cafe has always been independent to the hotel management. There are no frying facilities, hence the lack of bacon, but the fluffy scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and baby spinach are exceptional! The coffee is in the hands of trained and experienced baristas who are pedantic about the flavour, consistency and presentation of their coffee. The staff are friendly and down to earth and make you feel as though you are in a cafe and not in a hotel restaurant. Excellent music selection and coffee.

For a small shop with limited facilities this place pumps. Coffee shops are about coffee not bacon !
