For me this place is Adelaide's best kept coffee secret. Consistently great coffee - and friendly staff who know coffee, love coffee and want you to have the best coffee experience. Driving past some of Adelaide's so-called 'boutique' coffee houses, I happily travel 75kms one way to savour their coffee!!

Staff are always friendly and always accommodating to make sure we're comfy! We travel from the other side of town for their breakfast's and the kids are excited to go too! Only problem they have is... they need more tables!

The coffee is very good as is the food, ambience is ok but I always feel the place needs a good clean up

Amazing coffee, fabulous food and a great experience altogether

I have to say I'm very particular about my coffee and the cafes I go to. The Coffee Barun have the most incredible coffee and the service is exceptional. Such friendly people and they actually know how to make a good coffee. They all know about the coffee they sell and the manager will help with anything from the beans to the machines that they sell. If you have a passion for the taste of coffee you need to experience this for yourself.

Coffee is amazing, Mark really knows what he is talking about. The staff are friendly. Oh did I say that the coffee Mark roasts himself is top notch and runs rings around other brands. Well done keep up the good work - every morning is now a great start to the day with the long black to help kick start my crapper of a job! (Nov'08).

After years of drinking Cibo on the way to work every morning I dropped into the Coffee Barun. Wow! Makes me wonder how I ever drank anything else... Mark is knowledgeable and clearly passionate and I never realised the whole new world of coffee out there. The difference between the varietals and freshness really makes a difference and is interesting to learn about. (Nov '08) Recommended!!

The best coffee I have ever tasted. I have had to move interstate for work but thankfully The Coffee Barun has a great website and I can get it delivered! The biggest problem is deciding which blend or single origin to get, my favorite is the Cafe Blend. Well done, best coffee in Australia!

After moving from Melbourne 3 years ago we had trouble finding a place with decent coffee. Then Mark and Kate Barun opened just what Adelaide needed! Fresh coffee, heaps of single origins roasted on site, Adelaide's only Synesso (yippie!), friendly passionate staff and a great menu (try the Barun Burger or Chicken Caesar!) If you want see what coffee is all about, they do it all. The Coffee is one of the best if not the best ever. If you haven't check it out, do so soon. They have coffee machines, freshly roasted coffee ( that changes every week), coffee classes and even do great food - try the chicken caesar salad, its to die for.

Fantastic Coffee! Made to perfection. The cafe holds everything from Great Coffee (roasted onsite), coffee machines, beautiful food (the chicken burger being my personal fav), and such great service! Everyone there knows how to make the perfect coffee while the owner is onsite to tell you anything and everything about coffee and how to make the perfect cup. Just the best place in Adelaide.
