This place is North Melbournes best kept secret. Coffee & food are simply superb. Staff are very friendly and warm. Whoops, the secrets out..
Excellent coffee made with care. Delicious cupcakes, not too much icing and decorated with class. Lunches are just right if you want something other than the usual Hahndorf fare. I can recommend the scones with cream. The decor is very classy.
great coffee fantastic display of food but most of all you feel very at home and the staff are very happy and friendly.
Great coffee (Daily Grind, made from Rainforest Alliance coffee and blended and roasted up the road in Gerringong by a passionate Master Roaster). Food is excellent and the view is to die for. Voted best cafe on south coast and NSW for a number of years running. Definitely worth a visit!
this shop is called borneo coffee now and we use our own blend called ona blend regards sasa sestic owner of ona/ borneo coffee
greath coffee the best coffee in canberra
All you Coffee Geeks are just jealous of the success of this place taking off in Brisbane. Time to suck it up! There will always be followers, but no leaders in the industry like these guys.
Shane was our coffee maker today. He produced a top quality coffee (very importantly at the right temp) that was artistically presented and not too bitter, not too insipid but PERFECT. I have never had anything except outstandingly top of the range, mellow, aromatic, rich and velvety coffee and friendly people in a small place with a family-friendly feel. Do yourself a favour.....
WE went to porgie for dinner last friday night, as they have now opened for dinner with a new chef - who originally was the head chef at cecconis in the city, and we HAVE to say the food and atmosphere was absloutely first class. the transition between cafe and restaurant is so well done... and the best thinkg is, it is BYO only which made it really reasonable. We love porgies and feel it is part of our community here in Hawthorn. Well done guys
My boyfriend and I had cupcakes and coffee here recently. Elegant surroundings, deliciously wicked cupcakes and excellent coffee. Yum!
Glenn uses Morgans Organic Boutique coffee range; unlike a lot of cafe's I come across in my travels, he offers a selection of coffee's rather than just a "like it or lump it" coffee attitude. With his one-off designer coffee cup range, to his passion for both coffee and people, you immerse yourself in an eclectic Eurostyle cafe culture with magazines, newspapers and the like to help your day disappear. Don't go looking for a meal, this is a true coffee hangout, where the emphasis is definitely coffee not food, but, there are always plenty of delicious sweet treats to add those extra few pound to the waistline. Indulge, forget the worries of the world - I have yet to find a troubled person after they have enjoyed a coffee and an almondine biscuit!! If coffee isn't your thing, good quality leaf teas not tea bags here, or perhaps a cup of Organic Chocolate. Glenn is always happy to give you a little more knowledge on the range of Organic Sustainable Coffee's. The atmosphere is very "Euro" and gets very busy so managing to get a seat can be next to impossible sometimes. It has since become my part time home away from home, until I get found out, then, I'm afraid I will have to look all over again for a new haunt. [March 09].
The Wine Country Cafe is definitely the best cafe` in the Pokolbin vineyard area.
This guy was so busy but his coffee was the best I have experienced in a long long time. Great Job!
I drive 25 minutes out of my way for this little cafe tucked away in the suburbs. Been a regular there for 3 years and the coffee is excellent. In my opinion equal to Campo's. Terry the owner is extemely friendly and at 7am on any week day you find up to 20 of his regulars lined up for their fix. By the way the food is excellent and service fantastic. Recommend to everyone.
I have to admit, I wasn't expecting much, wow. Right up there amongst one of my favourites
I had to write a review on this place as it is the worst breakfast and coffee experience I have ever had. I have had better coffee and breakfast in hospital or even at the cheapest nastiest motel.Initially the place looks funky but to be honest after this experience I could use another word. My wife and I had the disgusting pleasure to witness a buffet breakfast full of grey scrambled eggs and an array of tinned delights that even a army soldier would have reconsidered. After changing our minds and instead ordering from the menu I receive an eggs benedict with a strange unknown flavour that was not finished and my wife and myself guinea pigged our way of a bite each out of the limpest foulest bacon flavoured raison toast anyone with a taste bud would hurl on. Then there is the coffee which seemed to be scrapped from the sole of a jockey and then burnt beyond recognition to hide the bitter foul after taste not to mention the fluff on top of the cappuccino was like the baby bath water rinse. Lets just say buyer beware and just go somewhere else and run with your money in hand.
This place used to be the best place to go in sydney when Rebecca managed it, now there is a grumpy greek lady there who is not nice at all. Dont go there coffee is really bad now. we want Bec back.
Best coffee in Sydney!
GREAT COFFEE
Delicious food- I have tried their fries, sandwiches and schnitzel. Service is good.
A comfortable relaxing place to meet friends. Staff friendly and welcoming. My 2 year old grandson adores the staff and his baby cino.
Great staff and the friendliest owners you've ever come across. The mocha, cupcakes and the big breakfast are to die for.
Nice small cafe, aimed mainly at corporate business, coffee smooth and sweet.
