I walked past this basic fish and chip shop, and saw a sign that read "great coffee in a fish and chip shop? You bet!" I couldn't go past that, the owner only makes the coffee at present if he's not there, no coffee. What a find! I didn't expect to find a decent brew outside of Melbourne let alone in a fish and chip shop, freshly ground freshly roasted beans, with high quality single origin on offer if he is playing with his beans for himself so he says. My doppio ristretto was to die for and a latte that was memorable - the microfoam was perfect. The service was brilliant and banter great. BTW the fish and chips were terrific also. The shop was a bit cold and not at all fitted out to promote cafe style ambience, but it is absolutely worth it for the coffee. Well worth the treck to the coast for this coffee.
