A true city style cafe in regional victoria which ticks all the boxes. The decor and menu betray the Chef/owner's English heritage and create a unique style and atmosphere which feels entirely natural and welcoming. The breakfast menu is fantastic, ranging from traditional english classics to specials such as indian sweet pancakes, catalan baked omelettes or imported scottish kippers. You can't beat the bacon and egg roll - made on toasted turkish bread with hand cut bacon, soft cooked free range egg and HP sauce, perfectly seasoned and simply presented, but the Eggs Florentine looked equally flawless. Repeat visits with friends did not disappoint. The coffee is exceptional. Roasted and blended locally and ground to order, and the lunch menu will certainly tempt us back. Not a frier in sight and a simple yet varied selection of homemade imaginative offerings, all competitively priced. Hard to fault.
